How to pick a padel racket.
Start with your level.
A forgiving, easy-to-swing racket wins a newer player more points than a pro model does. Pro rackets reward clean technique and punish anything less.
Control, balance or attack.
Round rackets keep the sweet spot in the middle and favour control. Diamond rackets move weight toward the head for power, and ask more of your timing. Teardrop sits between the two.
Your side of the court.
Right-side players usually build the point and lean toward control. Left-side players finish more points and often want extra power.
Weight and comfort.
A lighter racket is quicker at the net and kinder to the elbow and shoulder. A heavier one adds stability and punch if you can swing it for a full match.
Spend where it matters.
A racket that matches your game beats a more expensive one that does not. If you are unsure between two, ask us and we will tell you straight.
